Why your donation matters?

Donations are the lifeblood of Priceless Pet Rescue! While adoption fees help offset some of our expenses, they cover only a fraction of the actual cost of rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for animals in need.

Every animal that enters our care requires food, shelter, vaccinations, veterinary care, and plenty of love. Many arrive with medical conditions or special needs requiring costly treatments, surgeries, or extended care before they are ready for adoption.

Beyond direct animal care, donations also help cover the everyday operating expenses necessary to keep our adoption centers running, support our dedicated staff, and continue our lifesaving rescue efforts.

Simply put, adoption fees alone cannot sustain our organization. We depend on the generosity of donors, supporters, and our community to bridge that financial gap.

Does Priceless Pet Rescue receive government funding?

Priceless Pet Rescue does not currently receive ongoing government funding through municipal shelter contracts. Our former partnership with the City of Costa Mesa has ended, and we now rely on the generosity of individual donors, businesses, foundations, and community supporters to sustain our rescue operations.

While we occasionally receive grants from San Bernardino County to help offset the costs of our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts for community cats, these funds are designated for that specific purpose and do not support our general operating expenses.

Our adoption centers, veterinary care, animal rescue efforts, and daily operations depend on the generosity of our supporters. Your donations make it possible for us to continue saving lives, one animal at a time.

Does Priceless Pet Rescue receive funding from national animal welfare organizations?

Many people are surprised to learn that local animal rescues like Priceless Pet Rescue operate independently of large national animal welfare organizations, such as the ASPCA and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

While these national organizations conduct widespread fundraising campaigns, donations made to them do not automatically reach local rescues like ours.

When you donate directly to Priceless Pet Rescue, your contribution supports our own lifesaving work—providing food, shelter, veterinary care, and second chances to homeless animals in our communities.

If your goal is to help the animals in our care, the most direct way to make a difference is to give directly to Priceless Pet Rescue.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! Priceless Pet Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Please retain your donation acknowledgment or receipt for your tax records. We recommend consulting your tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances.

Is my donation secure?

Absolutely! Protecting your personal and payment information is a priority at Priceless Pet Rescue. Our website uses secure, encrypted connections, and online donations are processed through secure payment providers.

We respect your privacy and do not sell or trade your personal information. Your generosity and trust mean everything to us.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes! When you make an online donation, a confirmation and donation receipt will be sent to the email address you provide.

Please retain your receipt for your records. If you need a duplicate receipt or assistance with your donation, our team will be happy to help.

Third-Party Fundraiser Guidelines

Once your Third Party Fundraiser is approved, we will gladly provide you with a high-quality JPEG of our logo for use on promotional materials.
We ask that you provide a copy of any marketing materials or press coverage that mentions our organization.
Please refer to our organization as Priceless Pets, a no-kill pet rescue.
When appropriate, please list or include a link to our website, and/or on marketing materials with approval*.
Priceless Pet Rescue is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
We are typically unable to provide volunteers, printing services, display space in our center, or significant staff time to help with the planning of third-party events.
We cannot provide tax advice. Please consult a professional if you have any questions about the tax-deductible status of donations made through your fundraising activities. Donations made directly to Priceless Pets are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We will gladly provide a signed IRS form W-9 on request.
If appropriate, it may be possible to schedule the Priceless Pets Adoption Trailer to attend third-party events.
Your event may receive mentions on the Priceless Pets Facebook or Instagram pages but is not guaranteed.
